The Job

For our Client, international energy company, we are looking for a Candidate for the position of Head of SSC. In this position you will be responsible for the development and business continuity for Back Office processes and complex billing process for Customers through supervising meter data collection, overall payments invoicing and Customer accounting, debt collection including counteraction of illegal electricity take-offs, as well as supporting IT systems development and improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Development and implementation of the strategy for billing and invoicing in area of retail and distribution for commodity and non-commodity products
  • Ensure maintenance and development for manual and automatic processes related to accounting and collecting of payments
  • Ensure debt and receivables collection in mass processes, negotiation procedures and trial proceedings
  • Responsible for comprehensive Back Office Customer Service, including: customer inquiries, complaints, after sales service
  • Maintenance and implementation of the strategy for supporting IT systems through initiating development activities, analyzing market benchmarks and innovations

Requirements

  • University degree in economics / finance / law
  • At least 5 years of experience in building up and leading complex teams and managing projects
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in Customer Service, billing, debt collection, Customer accounting
  • Strong negotiation skills, ability to work under pressure, focused on achieving goals
  • Experience in LEAN (optimization) and change implementation projects
  • Fluent in Polish (native level) and business-fluent in English, German is a plus but optional
